Shannon has 20+ years of experience in public accounting, financial services, tax preparation and is a Certified Public Accountant and a CFP® Certificant. As our team’s Wealth Advisor, Shannon is a fee-based financial advisor who serves as a fiduciary to clients. She is passionate about personal finance and committed to providing clients with detailed, comprehensive budgets and financial plans to help them pursue their goals and make informed decisions.

A graduate of Western Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy, she started her career with a regional CPA firm in the Seattle area. She then received her Certified Public Accounting (CPA) designation and transitioned to PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Audit & Assurance Department and moved with the firm to Zurich, Switzerland where she took on the role of Assistant Manager on several US GAAP audits of US Public Registrants with International operations.

After Switzerland, but before joining Buckley Investment Group in 2019 as an Investment Advisor Representative, she spent time as a tax preparer and part owner of Block Maughan & Associates. She also spent four years as a mortgage loan officer.

An avid volunteer, Shannon served as the Executive Board Treasurer for the Blue Mountain Humane Society for six years, and volunteered for Junior Achievement, teaching their personal finance module to classes at a local middle school.

Shannon and her husband Bowe have two kids, Hadley (14) and Jameson (13). They stay very busy with cross-country, track, travelling soccer & 4-H. Together, they love camping, hanging out with their three dogs, and working on projects around their house. A “running family,” you can usually find one of them training for a half or full marathon.
