John began his career in 1989 in Bellevue, Washington as a Registered Investment Advisor with Dain Bosworth, Inc.  He eventually went on to a private regional firm, Ragen MacKenzie, Inc, and after close to a decade left as a Senior Vice President.  

John founded Buckley Investment Group, LLC in 2003. As Managing Director and Wealth Advisor, John offers a diversified asset allocation approach while using an objective eye in identifying high-quality investments for portfolio management. He has a Registered Financial Consultant (RFC®) designation and more than three decades of experience in the financial services industry. 

A graduate of Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, John continues to run the firm to this day as Managing Director. 

Outside of work, John stays active by traveling and playing golf. A father to two sons and a daughter, John also enjoys spending time with his family.
